Our mission is to unite all people of the African diaspora through educating and upholding hair care traditions that have been engrained in our culture for centuries.
Calvin Pierre, Esq - Founder/General Counsel
Calvin Pierre, the visionary Chief Executive Officer of Caribbean Secrets Cosmetics, is a first-generation American of Haitian descent and the eldest of three brothers. His passion for textured haircare and cultural heritage was shaped by his early experiences growing up in a household dedicated to beauty and culture. Calvin's mother, a cosmetologist, introduced him to the challenges faced by those with textured hair, as she sought solutions for her clients’ dry and brittle strands. Despite experimenting with countless products, she found relief in a secret weapon from her homeland: Haitian Castor Oil. Limited in supply and treasured for its ability to combat breakage and dryness, this oil became the foundation of Calvin's mission.
While studying Biology, Chemistry, and Economics at Howard University, Calvin noticed that many of his peers struggled with dry, textured hair. Inspired by his mother’s remedies and armed with scientific knowledge, he founded Caribbean Secrets Cosmetics to create high-quality products that address the unique needs of curly textured hair. His goal was not only to help customers embrace their natural beauty but also to improve the socioeconomic conditions of Haiti and other Caribbean islands through the formulation of these products. Calvin believes that through quality haircare, he can positively impact the lives of people around the world.
Calvin’s passion extends beyond just developing products—he is committed to uniting and empowering people of color by celebrating their shared heritage. He believes there is an intimate relationship between culture and haircare, and through Caribbean Secrets, he aims to unite people with textured hair and the cultures they come from. After graduating from Howard University in 2016, Calvin pursued a career in law to sharpen his business acumen and negotiation skills, which continue to drive the success of Caribbean Secrets. Today, he remains hands-on in every aspect of the company, ensuring that each customer receives an exceptional experience. His relentless dedication to excellence, cultural unity, and socioeconomic impact continues to be the driving force behind Caribbean Secrets Cosmetics.
Ebony Smith, Esq. - Chief Operating Officer
Ebony Smith, our Chief Compliance Officer at Caribbean Secrets Cosmetics, is a vital force on our management team, ensuring we uphold the highest standards of compliance and integrity. With a B.A. in Communication and Culture from Howard University and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore, Ebony’s expertise in business and law drives our company’s growth and expansion into new markets. Her passion and dedication are key to our evolution and success. .
Bryan Pierre - Chief Supply Officer
Bryan Pierre serves as the Chief Supply Officer at Caribbean Secrets Cosmetics, Co. With a wealth of experience in supply chain management, Bryan oversees inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and shipping operations. His background includes roles at Jet Warehouse, FedEx, and UPS, where he honed his skills in order fulfillment and packaging.

Arthur Pierre - Chief Marketing Officer
Arthur Pierre is the Chief Marketing Officer of Caribbean Secrets Cosmetics, Co. He is responsible for developing strategic marketing plans, managing marketing operations and ensuring our brand identity is clearly communicated through advertising and social media.
Arthur's diverse experience includes being a real estate agent, where he honed his marketing and sales skills. As a bartender and sales expert where he developed strong communication and customer service abilities.
Arthur graduated from Temple University with a degree in Advertising. He is passionate about showcasing melanated people in a positive light and is dedicated to providing Caribbean Secrets customers with an exceptional experience.
